Mini-hotels: a few more out-of-the ordinary overnight facilities

(A Mobile Hotel) Room with a view. The one-room hotel 2007 in Paris (Palais de Tokyo).

The extremely stylish Hotel Everland consists of one room in the form of a long, blue-green box. This combines bathroom, double bed and lounge in one space. What’s special about this one-room hotel is that travels about. It has already stood on piles in Lake Neuenburg at Yverdon, Switzerland and on the roof terrace of the Gallery for Contemporary Art in Leipzig. Just now it is parked on the roof of Palais de Tokyo in Paris – with a unique outlook, since its large windows give guests an unimpeded view of the Eiffel Tower. www.everland.ch
